    SWJ explained:

I was reading this funny story about Alex Morse, a progressive, openly gay American politician, youngest mayor of Holyoke at age 22. He was teaching some course at University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he also was having sex with his students (whom he met on Grindr, not in his classroom, and the sex was fully consensual).

The sex itself was not a problem, he was fired for the following reason: When these students, after having received a diploma, may want a career in politics in the future, and therefore they could not take a decision to refuse him, because their career prospects depend on it.

    The New Puritans
"This is not a sexual harassment issue in the classic sense of someone who actually has power over someone else, for instance in the workplace or in a classroom. The concept here is that students who might “wish to enter progressive politics” will feel uncomfortable refusing, or even just not answering, so mighty a personage as the Mayor of Holyoke, Massachusetts, for fear of what that might do to their job prospects someday, in a field they have not even chosen yet.

Therefore, just as a child or, say, a St. Bernard cannot consent to sex, neither apparently can an adult college student with an uncertain job future.

But the most grotesque part of the story is the obsessive/delusional misunderstanding of “power,” which after years of intersectional propaganda has become the primary lens through which young progressives see the world. Constant preaching that all human interactions are political contests, with one side always getting the better of the other, has made a whole generation phobic about adulthood."

SWJ and the new left-winged puritanism explained in one sentence: fear of adulthood, fear of being free and fear of being responsible for your own decisions

"The formation of the authoritarian structure takes place through the anchoring of sexual inhibition and sexual anxiety. (...) The result of this process is fear of freedom and a conservative, reactionary mentality. Sexual repression aids political reaction not only through this process which makes the mass individual passive and unpolitical but also by creating in his structure an interest in actively supporting the authoritarian order. The suppression of natural sexual gratification leads to various kinds of substitute gratifications. Natural aggression, for example, becomes brutal sadism which then is an essential mass-psychological factor in imperialistic wars."

America is a truly sick country - by all parameters. Burn the whole continent with napalm and sow it with one meter thick layer of salt, so that no life ever grows out again or spreads to anywhere else.™
