Don't really want to link it but there's a twitter with 'closest footage so far' of Beirut disaster. Assuming the guy was livestreaming, as he's basically right next to the warehouse filled with exploding fireworks and the start of the video has some awful, awful wailing - the sort I imagine comes from people in a helluva lot of pain. And it doesn't even cover the larger secondary explosion. Cuts out with one of the primary ones.

It's kind of fucked my head a bit. It's been a while since I've had anything to do with the bit of the internet where you see video evidence of just how terrible the world can be. i dont realy like that bit of the intenet (necessary as I used to think it should be to expose myself to certain realities. not so sure I do anymore - bury head in sand like a good Westerner).

    • images of him on the building too. part of a group from what i understand. that footage can be seen for the evidence it captured. it is not malicious gore. :(imbecile
    • True Nairn. I've seen photage of dead bodies lying on the road near the explosion site... And now I can't get them out of my head :(OBBTKN
    • rip to that soul that filmed that video man, but I really really hope deep inside he actually made it out alive before the second bigger explosion happened
