Companies must be so fearful of negative social media press these days - I bought a packet of 'salami chips' the other day after spying them on promo for ages in my supermarket. I'd been eyeing them for months, but I try not to waste money on pointless stuff these days, so didn't buy one until a few days back, when I just caved in, needing a treat.
Opened them up and ... ew, they don't look great. Taste one, nup. Taste another, ewno. taste a third and spit it out - clearly there's something amiss with the packet.
Write a friendly complaint to the company, via email, explaining what had happened and included a photo of the packet and 'chips' in question and BOOMPH, now I have six packets that they've sent me for free. I only wanted a replacement one.
And now I'm here not quite doing social media promotion for them, of sorts. Clever girl.
- So were the replacements good or as awful as salami chips sound?ben_
- Basically just slightly crisp slices of very paprika-ish salami (Mangalitza products tend to be fairly similar to chorizo, i've found)Nairn
