I seem to have a new neighbour in the apartment below me. Beside shouting down the phone aggressively in Arabic during the day... He snores. Loudly. With his bedroom window wide open. His snoring is irregular so just when I think it’s stopped and I’m about to drift off to sleep, there it is again.
What can I do besides move (which I’m planning to do before autumn)? Would a note through their door explaining the situation and asking for their consideration be ok or rude? At least they could close their windows and try to a leep on their side.
I’m currently filing the event under “More reasons to leave London”. It was bad enough that the guy above me falls asleep with his windows wide open and his Arabic TV channel on. I’ve Frequently been woken at 3am by his background noise of some Arabic talking/chantIng on TV.
The disturbed sleep is starting to affect my mood significantly...
- If you're moving anyway, have a word with him. Most people are unaware of how annoying they are. Not unique to London or Arabic people.Fax_Benson
- talk to him like how any common people would.pango
- well.. that's the thing, telling someone they snore, it's a sensitive situation...shapesalad
