This is a bit of a work in progress, I randomly filled it but still have to draw loads of detail in the background.
Initially I'd just drew it to do a quick Youtube tutorial, but liked how the background was going so going to expand it.

    • dude, you've got to start doing comics if you're not already :)_niko
    • Love that palette. Great stuff as alwaysGnash
    • ridiculously talentedinteliboy
    • Cheers dudes!
@Niko I'd like to do comics, I plan some stories at night before going to sleep but I struggle with character consistency.
      One day!

    • do you like the guy who drew blame!deathboy
    • @Deathboy, Tsutomu Nihei? Yeah I love his work, Blame, Biomega, Knights of Sodonia. Also like Q Hayashida who did Dorohedoro that started out working on Blame.PhanLo
    • not familiar with dorohedoro but that did just recently pop up on netflix or hulu or something and catch my eye. nihei had the black white but over detailsdeathboy
    • palettes and details also remind me of that trencher comic book. terrible remembering names. think in the era of maxx. loose, gritty, excessive etcdeathboy
    • i like it. so you trace? i see the halftone top. but based on illustration you see to exaggerate to your eyedeathboy
    • unless proportions pretty legit. i like knowing people styles and methods. i can copy cat images, and trace, but i cant draw out of my head, especiallydeathboy
    • perspective. knew a cat growign up with so much talent i feel liek a retard in time and effort seeing what he draws naturallydeathboy
    • also see why u like the detroit rock city guydeathboy
    • ^For the background I draw it from Google maps, so I have it in streetview and can move around the 360 image and zoom when needed.PhanLo
    • It's handy for the details on the signs. I added in a screengrab at the top to extend the image as I'd only drawn to the edge of the paper, I'll need to tape...PhanLo
    • ...another sheet on to expand the scene.
That Trencher artist is Keith Giffen, he doesn't draw like that now, but that comic was mad. Really crazy style.
