I still can't believe After Effects can't have 2 or more app-windows open with completely different projects. It's 2020. Jesus. We're not end of 90's or early 2000's where the CPU/ Ram couldn't handle it.
This is so fucking annoying. No don't tell me to import projects into projects because sometimes the projects/ clients aren't related at all.
This is just incredible.
- Obv Adobe thinks you're rich if you do AE projects and use one computer for each client project...grafician
- More computers, more subscriptions, more money for them [insert that "smart" meme"]grafician
- You an do. First you just google "open two instances of after effects". Which I just did. Without even opening any results, google gives you the way, which is:shapesalad
- Right click on AE app in applications folder> Show in Package contents > Contents > MacOS > After Effects (unix exe) – Double click to run.shapesalad
- This is just incredible - I now have two instances of AE open...shapesalad
- That's a stupid problem but what's worse is not being able to copy a few layers or a comp and paste into a different project file.CyBrainX
