Noticed some confusion about the stimulus checks. Some people believe it’s like a loan they payback, arguing it isn’t a welfare handout. They are wrong. It is in no way expected to be paid back. Ever. Not in taxes or any other form. Period.

    • Hello, I have a bridge for sale you might be interested in. It connects Brooklyn with Manhattan. Used condition. Only selling because I have a spare.

    • No mention of shame. It’s money for people who need it during a pandemic. It’s socialism at its best helping people. I’m all about it.monospaced
    • I think the government should do more for the people like this. I think social welfare in a mass scale is essential to progress.monospaced
    • Isn't it a bit too little to late? 1200 or 1400? That really covers anything rn?
      ********
    • It’s not great no. It’s not much at all. Once again I think there should be more welfare to people who need it in this global crisis.monospaced
    • This is really addressing the conservatives who, for decades, vote against this kind of government support as a hard party line policy. That’s all.monospaced
    • The same people who don’t like people getting free stuff when they can’t get it. The people who advocate for private medical and charter schools. Aka cunts.monospaced
