to be fair to him, he didn't actually say you should inject disinfectant, he said disinfectant works outside the body and asked if perhaps something could replicate that inside the body. Which is fucking stupid, granted.
What boggles the mind isn't the stupidity though, it's the desperate narcissism that forces him to pose these questions live on air, in the hope that one of them lands and he looks clever. Why won't somebody just tell him it's stupid rather than squirming awkwardly and hoping the ground opens up?
