More than 90 residents and 10 staff members at San Francisco’s largest homeless shelter have tested positive for coronavirus, in a development that homeless advocates say was both predictable and preventable amid massive policy failures.

I do wonder what kind of homeless death statistics are and will be available to see the increase due to Covid-19 as I presume their bodies will not always be checked to determine cause of death. I am certain there will be a discernible increase when new stats are released next year.
If the same percentage of deaths compared to the documented population occur, it may likely add ~7000 Covid deaths within the nationwide (US) homeless population.
