    pretty insightful graph showing effect of acting early and decisively.

    New Zealand acted quickly before any confirmed deaths and they did large scale testing.

    They didn't see the deaths of the vulnerable and elderly as an acceptable price to pay.

    • I'd guess it's an easier policy to implement in NZ than UK etc. shame everywhere couldn't / didn't do similar.Fax_Benson

    • As this is a graph of confirmed case numbers it depends on how/if countries are testing in the first place to get those numbers I'd suppose.webazoot
    • There is clearly an issue of scale, being an island nation etc but wealthy larger countries have more resources to mobilise.lowimpakt
