Trying to tell myself every day as I wake up wondering how long we're all going to be living like this:

    I can do this.
Keeping my family safe and healthy is the most important thing I can do right now.
Any annoyance my little kids might be while they're arguing with each other or us is all fine compared to the alternative - that any of us are sick, dying, or putting other people's lives at risks.
    This won't last forever.
Someday, humanity is going to celebrate and mourn and hopefully look back at what we can learn, and make incredible strides to reinvent the health care system and the supply chain that helps us prepare for a health crisis, and react quickly to it.
But above all, I am going to keep my family safe.

The days may be uncertain, but anything we can do to think positively, we all need to do it in spades.

    • So true! I try to tell myself the same. It's not easy. Trying to do my work and run my business with 2 small kids in the house just isn't working...nocomply
    • But it's a kind of small problem when you put it in perspective.nocomply
    • That's what I try to tell myself - that staying alive and healthy and safe is worth whatever small frustration comes with being stuck inside.mg33
    • My kids play together pretty well; I'm glad my daughter is pretty mature for 5, she can play well with her little brother, but it would be nice if he was amg33
