neeko- you are correct my friend. Sharks do rock, but they are not cooler than pirates. It's all in the language. WTF do sharks say? Nothing much. They just bite, swim, and chill... (kinda the gangsta rapper of the sea). But Pirates... they got the talk... "Arrrgh, matey. Get yer hands off me rum or you'll be takin' yer last breath in the drink." Pirates Rock, indeed.
