So little reporting of the Irish election results in the British press. absolutely incredible movement against austerity, overturning of status quo and the 2 party dominance that's existed since the formation of the republic and (providing Sinn Fein can deliver) a huge boost to the validity of Irish reunification.

    • Very wow!robotron3k
    • How much do you think the vote has to do with reunification? or is that just a potential by-product of people being attracted to the 'change' party?Fax_Benson
    • A total protest vote against FG and FF for the most part but SF are maybe more attractive in that they have a focus that isn't just business and the economy...kingsteven
    • Hopefully they can form a lefty coalition govt with Labour, Greens, People before Profit and independentskingsteven
    • I would never vote Sinn Fein in the North, but just breaking up the FF/FG gravy train makes reunification much more appealing to me.kingsteven
