    Gorbie,

    I went to RockFest in 1997 when I lived in Texas. There were over 300,000 people there, at a huge Indy/Nascar speedway outside of Ft. Worth.
    My home was about a 20 minute drive from the place, and it took us 3 1/2 hours to get out of the parking lot alone!
    Were not even great bands there, lineup was bands like Collective Soul, Counting Crows, Jewel, No Doubt, Bush (who closed it out and were excellent-playing Glycerine to that many people would be incredible.) Sugar Ray (sick, just sick and God-awful to listen to)

    So many people there, I think it was one of the biggest concerts ever in the US. Crowd was well over 300,000
