Here it comes, right on schedule, USA removes 27 guys(!) from the Kurd front and now they are doing what was expected, claiming Turk chemical attacks.... was a brilliant move to get out of there, Obama should have done the same in Libya instead of causing a power vacuum in North Africa.

    • So 27 guys were preventing a chaotic invasion and it was smart to get them out?yuekit
    • Or you're saying the Kurdish fighters made up the chemical attacks? Not really following the argument here...yuekit
    • correct, because it was not chaotic before even Kurds themselves still can't get along with each other and demand a country as a whole.robotron3k
    • Wait Turkey wants to be a part of the EU, so Brussels will take care of this for sure...robotron3k
    • Libya was a mistake, but this situation is nothing like Libya. Also do you even understand basic concepts like "power vacuum"? I'm guessing you don't.garbage
    • Kurds blamed the same thing to Assad too right after Trump told that he will withdraw the troops last year. Turkey doesnt have those otherwise they would wipeBeeswax
    • PKK out of the mountains decades ago.Beeswax
    • garbage Obama and Hillary don't make mistakes the people armed themselves because they felt 10 years of armed chaos was better than being a succesful country.robotron3k
    • I understood the Kurds have been digging in since Dec, they knew this was coming. Interesting they are fighting for a 20 mile swath I believe.robotron3k
    • lol Robo! Hillary and Obama are the new Godwins's law. once you invoke their names you've lost whatever measly argument you might have had._niko
    • @robo I don't have much time for your dipshittery, but we're gonna try. Sidebar blog mode enabled.garbage
    • Trump forced the Kurds to dismantle defensive positions on the northeastern front, with the promise of a "safe zone" there.garbage
    • Then the Turkish forces made a very "wink wink" move and moved in immediately, including shelling American troops. This is called a power vacuum.garbage
    • This move benefits Erdogan, Assad, and Putin. If you knew anybody involved in the US military, you'd know that this isn't going over well.garbage

    • This pullout was so abrupt that we had to bomb our own sites in fear of Russian and Syria getting hands on our tech.garbage
    • I'm getting tired of having to poke the village idiot with a smart stick. This thing must be broken.garbage
    • Thank goodness you're both finally reading, Turks bombed US station 3 football fields away. Ok. The Syrian Kurds just did announced cease firerobotron3k
    • Now those people gotta all stop killing each other and no, USA has better things to do than babysit euro-asian family fights.robotron3k
    • It's laughable for you to say "thank goodness you're finally reading" when you obviously misread the context of everything that was being said in this thread.garbage
