During our sunday's bike ride, my dad fell from his bike (fucking road slowing bumps!!) and he lost consciousness for a pair of mins... the longest minutes of my life, immoblised him, an tried to mantain his tongue out while he pants when breathing.
I thought I've lost him when I saw him lying on the road...
Made a brain scaner and everything looks ok, only some scratches, thanks to the helmet. Strong man.
Very sad and still in shock
- shit that's horrid, seeing one's parents in distress. glad to hear he's ok.hans_glib
- Hate to think what would have happened without the helmet. Hope he makes a full recoveryPhanLo
- Hey man, I'm sorry that happened to you. I have been in a similar position and can relate to that level of stress. Good thing it's a false alarm!Maaku
- Sorry to hear. My gf's brother is currently hospitalized and has had to have part of his skull removed after a bike wreck a couple weeks ago.garbage
- And we saw a car vs bike wreck this weekend while walking to the store, which did not help my "I've been riding for 20 years" no helmet argument.garbage
- Hope your father is ok, and it may seem small, but you have a community here if you need to talk.garbage

- Thanks all... Everything is fine, talked with him, healing well, he is angry with the autorities, shouting... "unpainted bumps, bastards!!".OBBTKN
