After nearly 20 years of living in Hackney, for the sake of quality of life for family and trying to save money (and cashing in before Brexit potentially tanks housing and jobs market)...finally pulled the trigger and moved outside of London!! Not sure I am ready for this yet.
- Whereabouts?Fax_Benson
- Tunbridge Wells, Kent. I feel like fish out of water!dee-dubs
- well, that'll be a bit differenthans_glib

- Good for you! And I mean that literally, not in the snarky English sense. I wish my partner could see a life for us outside of LDN, but no.Nairn
- nice one. can't be a huge saving though? Don't know it well but seems pricey.Fax_Benson
- It's not so bad down there. Fast trains to LDN and all that. Decent pubs to be found, just a few too many southern wooftas.MrT
- I lived in Tonbridge for a year once.MrT
- @Fax_Ben, no not huge savings, maybe 20% cheaper, but every little helps, which I need as I become older and less useful to the working worlddee-dubs
- @mrT, I am probably also one of them southern wooftas so maybe I'll fit in after all!dee-dubs

- @bluejam, think you'll ever return?
I went to the Forum once before I moved down here, great little venue. So far future lineup is mainly cover bands and DJsdee-dubs - @dee-dubs i lived in Tonbridge until i was in my early 20s and that was enough, my next move will be somewhere remote ...Bluejam
