- That looks great. I just bought RedShift last week and am trying to get brained up on it. I love how fast and easy to use it is in most cases.CyBrainX
- Sometimes, it's overly complicated. Setting up object AOVs is complex as fuck. I'll never remember all those steps until I do it 1000x.CyBrainX
- You can post on Vimeo and it will embed here. You'll also get video controls and HD, instead of Instagram's development standards from the 90s.CyBrainX
- haha yeah i just dont bother posting on vimeo for little bits n pieces. Yeah redshift great. AOVs will become second nature quickly.where_am_i
- best thing to learn i think is how sampling works so you can get it optimized. Crank up all the light,gi,reflex,refr... etc and your max sampleswhere_am_i
- I learned a little bit of Arnold with their free version before getting Redshift. So much of it works the same way. The IPR is almost exactly the same.CyBrainX
- The one thing I wish RedShift had was Arnold's Toon Shader. I never learned it but what I've seen from other people's work is amazing.CyBrainX
- i also started on arnold. lots of pros and cons, the biggest being speed for redshift i guess. arnold was too stressful for productionwhere_am_i
