to any brits (and please feel free to post a new reply instead of in the comments because those are abridged and difficult to follow)... i'd really like to know what potential sociopolitical fallout this could have in terms of violence.

what would, say, a mass economic crash that results in an unemployment look like in terms of backlash from the public? i'm an american in ireland and in the pubs i hear talk of worry regarding civil war, but how does that take shape over such an amorphous enemy? would it be like the french revolution or would it pit leavers against remainers? or is that out of the question and just a spate of time like the american great depression be present?

    • the irish would do what they did with paramilitary gorilla warfair back in the 60s 70s 80s and 90s.its different to leave/remain issues. ultimately this reallytrooperbill

    • We simply don't have an existant mentality for revolution against the ruling classes, so I tend to think it'd be either nothing at all ..or something very ugly.Nairn
    • The 'London Riots' a few years back, although not 'English' in nature might show a path - whatever it was, it ruffled the shit out of the government.Nairn
