It's totally bonkers that this govmnt is still going.

Cameron couldn't win first time round and had to form a coalition. He squeaked in second time but ended up having to resign for being a twat. We then get three years of an unelected May, who even her own party couldn't get rid of. And now we'll have yet another unelected PM. One election win in ten years = a decade of of this shit. And Boris will be favourite to win the next one.

    • they wouldn't be if there was a viable alternative. but there isn't. that's how shit uk politics has becomehans_glib
    • If people had just voted for Ed Miliband, all of this could have been avoided.yuekit
    • Not in the UK, but I seem to remember that election revolved around questions like, could he eat a sandwich properly.yuekit
    • talking of useless...hans_glib
    • and the most important vote in that time - the referendum to change the voting system - was basically ignored.Fax_Benson
    • PR would have given Ukip a voice in Westminster and negated the need for all this.Fax_Benson
    • er, how so?hans_glib
    • because they got 4m votes but only one MP. That lack of a voice drove the brexit vote.Fax_Benson
    • so brexit would have gone away if ukip was in parliament? i'm not sure you understand what ukip is all abouthans_glib
    • not saying they'd have gone away but Cameron wouldn't have had to 'deal with them' by calling a referendum. Freezing them out made them strongerFax_Benson
    • Generally, FPP 2-party systems have seen bigger surges in far-right support than countries with PR / coalitionFax_Benson
