Does anyone have a resource for repairing a corrupted video file? I took a video of my daughter on her birthday and it won't open, and I'm super bummed about it. :(

It's a ~340MB .MOV file. I've seen some online resources that cost about $60 and I might do that, but I thought I'd ask around first. Thanks.

    • try to open it with vlc https://www.videolan… or try https://handbrake.fr… to convert it. they might be able to read part of the file and then convert it.uan
    • also try uploading it to youtube (in private mode) and see if yt servers can read/convert it.uan
    • Thanks! VLC didn't work, but I'll try Handrake and YouTube. Good idears.Cosmodrome
    • if it was a SD card i used a free utility that saved 98% of photo taken on a card that corrupted... however google not showing me anything i remember.
