Can people stop turning up after the event and blaming the rest of us for suddenly hounding him out.
I wouldn't want to speak for set but, seeing as he's not here;
I don't think the PSB thread had anything to do with him leaving, although I can see why he might want to take it with him. I'm not sure anything that happened specifically in the 5G thread did either - although something funny was going on with the votes, with set's comments hitting -20s in a matter of minutes, and fairly innocuous replies / questions similarly hitting +20s. I don't think there were enough of us in that thread to account for so many up/down votes, and I don't think it was an accurate assessment of the discussion. Somebody was fucking about.But I think he took that volume of voting as confirmation of a general, cumulative feeling that that too many of us are unwilling or unable to discuss or take on board certain ideas.
It's a shame if he has gone for good and a shame that people with something different to say generally end up leaving. But that's down to the attitudes a few, rather than the majority, in my opinion. And in no small part to the attitude of set, who could be pretty salty, lest we forget. The cunt.
