my father owned a frigging Arriflex 16mm.
He bought it for (with audio equipment) about 40k euros at the time, and never asked me if i was interested before he sold it for only 6k... :(
I still have the compact Canon Scoopic 16mm. with case.
much cheaper..
btw. you can rent them, look good, since prices differ.
and why not start experimenting with 8mm? it is a lot cheaper, and once you feel ready make the step to 16 mm..
