I'm selling my wired Yamaha receiver and speakers. I want to go wireless and listen to Sporify by Bluetooth. All i see is portable speakers to go to the beach... any products for home audio? What are you using?

    • Liking my Sonos for sure, bang for the buckrobotron3k
    • bose soundlink, great sound from a tiny unithans_glib
    • Almost every single new receiver has Bluetooth and/or Spotify built in. You might just get one and keep the speakers you have.monospaced
    • Why though?section_014
    • but if you want the all-in-one, it's hard to beat the Sonos setups, if you have the money to spend (waste?)monospaced
    • @section: Tired of plugging my phone in the Yahama and would like to control the playlist from a distance, also something smaller and less wiresBennn
    • I've had a few over the years and the Bose ones were disappointing imho, currently using a Ears Boom 2 that I love.spl33nidoru
    • extend your exisitng setup with a BT receiver. All this AIO crap is dying too quick imomekk
    • i think you're right... Maybe i will just stick a Google Chromecast Audio in itBennn
    • https://www.amazon.c…CALLES
    • I just went this weekend with a housemate of mine get her a Technics HiFi System from 1981. Amp, tuner, turntable, cassttedeck, cd player, equalizer.

    • Klipsch with monitor and bluetoothCALLES
    • 130€...working perfectly. It's her first proper sound system. now with a Vestax PMC 05 Pro II and two walkmans all connected... ready to rock!
      ********
    • Ok, I'm keeping my stuff. :)Bennn
    • I mean...I started researching cause she wants to deejay with cassettes. I ended up buying a cassette deck for myself.
      ********
    • now I have a amp, equalizer and cassette deck connected. also connected to the same amp a mixer, two turntables, two walkman and my computer.
      ********
    • trying to get a wha wha pedal to connect to mixer. then more practice. depends what you wanna do and I like to listen to music in hi quality in the dark.

    • Sporify™ I like it.Hayoth
    • Yamaha YAS-108, bluetooth, has bass built in, check it outTurboslacker
    • it's impossible to have real subwoofers inside a slim soundbar, sorry ... that isn't "bass built in" at all, just marketing BS.monospaced
    • That Yamaha soundbar is considered entry level at best, with the lowest price point and lowest sound quality they offer in their line. It's basically low end.monospaced
    • And with such a small form factor, there's virtually no channel separation at all, making it the worst solution for music imaginable. It would be a downgrade.monospaced
    • You know you can get a bluetooth adapter for your existing receiver, right? May not be exactly what you're looking for, but a cheap solution.nocomply
    • Something like this: https://www.amazon.c…nocomply
    • Or I'm pretty certain an Echo dot would work and allow voice control over spotify.nocomply
    • You're downgrading the quality.pango
    • i saved my old yamaha with a cheap bt adapter. i think you can still find it for free on wish.com (just paying the $3-4 shipping)
      ********
    • I changed my mind and Im keeping it all. I may stick a Chromecast Audio (its a thing) on itBennn
    • Ya I'd do that too.
Now you have option to use cable if you still want to.
      pango
    • yup ... does tht support Spotify?monospaced
    • yes Spotify work with Chromecast Audio and the Chromecast for TV tooBennn
