Does anyone produce/master/mixdown on headphones here?
And if so, what do you use?

I was looking to get a pair but ended up getting a pair of AIAIAI (H04/S04/E05/C06) for general listening but also for making music with. Now that I have them I realise they will be ok for making music but definitely not mixdowns.

I'm wondering if their S01 speaker is "flat and neutral" (as they claim) enough for studio work like this? I could just cop a set and switch them round when mixing - their headphone system is modular.

Or just grab a new cheap pair specifically for this task.
Been reading/watching/hearing nothing but good stuff about
    - SONY MDR 7506
    - Audio Technica ATH-M50x
    Both about the £100 mark.

    • I've had my 7510's since around 2012 and the look brand new. Pad's haven't cracked. They're slightly cheaper now than in 2012 too.shapesalad
    • I have to do all my mixing in headphones due to the proximity of my neighbors. I have tried a few but I use the DT 990 pro's with a small headphone ampbig-papes
    • I got the S01 speakers delivered today. B-Stock from Juno with some £ off :) Will check them out but they may all be returned and go with 7506'smicrokorg
