    I know this guy seems to be a republican / Trumpo loon but the left's response to this will determine how fucked up the fallout is.

    It does seem to be just one idiot sending shit through the mail.

    If leftists start condemning all repubs and ratchet up the rhetoric, Trumpsters will just double down and the whole thing will escalate. I can imagine violence at mid-term polling booths. Ultimately, I don't really see how the US is going to avoid some kind of civil war - or at least a prolonged spell of politically motivated violence. It's a retarded death-spiral. Two village idiots drowning each other in a lake over a potato.
