My father found a car that his father kept in storage for 40 years being offered for sale on craigslist.

My grandmother was just kind of done after he died and saw her own end coming. She sold off some of his stuff so there was less to divide and just money to argue over.

The car is roughly 2.5X the cost it was sold for and has been admittedly stored outside for the last 2 years (after being stored indoor for 40).

Aside from some brake components and spark plugs / wires, nothing has been done to the car... other than a sad flip attempt.

I'm tempted to write the seller and ask questions I know they don't know the answer to.

I'll offer 40% of the asking cost if some items not shown in the photos are made available. (I'm sure they were disposed of.)

    Sad & heated.

    • Good luck... would be cool to get Gramps car back... sucks they kept it outside so longPonyBoy

    • I always think about people who find priceless barn cars and pay the old lady 100x less than what they know it's worth. I could never do it._niko
