    I love botanical gardens.

Tropical plants that with a bit of imagination transport you to another part of the planet - to times of world exploration and undiscovered lands.

I love the Lisboa and Belem ones.
The one in Singapore was good too.
Kew Gardens, sorry it's meh and far overpriced.
Any others worthwhile a visit? in Europe?

    • The Glasgow Botanical Gardens are worth a visit if you happen to be up that way. It's not huge, but it is free, I think.detritus
    • There's a tropical conservatory on the roof of the Barbican in London. UK is is not the best place given the climate.Fax_Benson
