People who have no fucking clue how anything works, ask me about it, and look at me like I'm hanging them out to dry when it's not fixed.

Case in point: Dude comes into my office to ask me to help with his iPad. K? I'm a programmer, not IT. But, whatever. He can't download an app because his Apple Id is disabled. Ok? Well, that's new to me. I say it's an Apple thing, and they'll need to unlock it.

"Can you log into your account?", I ask
    "I don't know, this was my son's"
"Does he have access to it?"
"He doesn't remember which e-mail he used"

At this point I basically tell him idk, call 1-800-APPLE or whatever. Dude looks at me like I just murdered his dog. Sorry mother fucker! I'm not Apple. Not might my fault you have no idea what your login details are.

I'm going to start telling people their device is hacked and needs thrown away from now on.

    • have you tried turning it off and on again?renderedred
