Looking at all these “hooligan” violent soccer fan videos you guys posted. And you guys in Europe make fun of our sports and fans here in the states??

Nothing comes close, not even the isolated incidents of a few cities burning trash cans and flipping cars after championship wins.

The only comparisons might be Raider fans.

    • US cities are big and hundreds of miles apart. In Europe, England particularly, rival towns are a few miles apart. There are 92 professional clubs in England -Fax_Benson
    • at least 10 just in London. Travelling away to other teams isn't prohibitive in terms of time and cost. The US was violent and gang obsessed in the 80s.Fax_Benson
    • In Europe violence attached itself to football teams. Then national teams. Gang violence + a day out somewhere different became a cultural experience.Fax_Benson
    • Multiply it if your team / country qualifies to play overseas.Fax_Benson
    • We make fun of your ‘football’ because it’s daft.MrT
