Does anyone here have hands on experience with the Maschine Studio from Native Instruments?
I already have an itchy buy now finger on a Jam and while I was in Guitar Center today picking up a patch cable, I saw they had three used Studio controllers starting at $449, white +$20, w/ license +$200.
They are a few years old now and larger than the Maschine controller. Considering I have a Maschine w/ stand and a Mikro w/ license, plus some other unused to rarely used controllers, I contemplated trading away some old stuff for the Studio. (They offer 60% of going used rates.)
I recently mentioned the Studio may not be my cup of tea given my track record with the Mikro and Maschine and I may simply consider the Jam in its place.
I do prefer the UI of Ableton but the sound collection I have amassed from NI keeps me trying their interface which I have never been able to get into a production groove as I can Ableton.
Wondering if I should move forward with Ableton 10 and Push as I use 9 with an APC 40 and more often lately, an APC mini. Even those two could be traded away with the others it seems for a Studio or Jam... or Push.
This controller collection has reached peak overlap IMO and it needs to be culled or reorganized.
