    Switched from DSL to cable modem today, bought my own modem and have gone from max 30mb/s with in close range to Wifi with Apple AirPort Extreme + Express configuration, to consistent 95-110mb/s across the entire house and basement with a Google WiFi mesh setup (3 of them).

    Thrilled to be back at speeds I had when I last had a cable modem.

    • Nice! We’ve got RCN here and I get a consistent 500mb/s without any fancy equipment. Just a last gen router & the modem our cable company gave us.monospaced
    • Maybe I’m getting my m and M bits confused. Ran a test and it’s 150Mb/s which it says is fast. I download huge files at a faster rate so maybe I’m confusing itmonospaced
    • can you connect a drive to the mesh? like you can with Extreme -- i have a Time Machine drive backing up 3 computersGnash
