my friends wife has been posting inspirational quotes like this for the past few weeks and getting a ton of sympathy "likes" from all of our friends

Turns out she's been fucking another friends husband for the past two years and just recently got caught.

    • I'm guided to think she's a piece of shitGnash
    • I’m guided to think monagamy is a construct created by humans that causes more pain than pleasure.imbecile
    • Quotes like that man.. the common denominator amongst every batshit crazy woman I've ever been with.Cnazz

    • And he's stayed with her? shit.Leigh
    • I see quite a bit of stuff like that as well from old 'friends' on facebook. most of the time, it's from girls that were 'the popular' one from, like 'grade 8'.exador1
    • but now we're all in our mid 40's and life's not quite turned out how they thought it would... many of them have either failed marriages, or something similar..exador1
    • I personally find 'over-sharing' on facebook or anyplace else a bit off, and it turns me off...but I understand that some folks either need the reassurance, orexador1
    • have a need to 'reach out' and get sympathy or whatever...it's not for me, but I get it... it's either posts like those 'inspirational' quotes, orexador1
    • worse..the 'vague' things like 'this sucks' or 'I'm tired of this' or something leading...then you get all the 'what's wrong sweetie?...'hugs!' or whatever....exador1
    • just a fishing expedition for sympathy or forcing people to ask whats wrong.exador1
    • I think people need to unplug from that shit and get outside and get some fucking perspective... take a walk, volunteer somewhere... fucking DO something...exador1
    • but moping and posting shit like that doesn't solve any problems... just allows you to wallow in your misery with digital company...which is meaningless...exador1
    • Lol, true it could be a public pre-cursor to fam & friends, "you know, Harold and I have grown apart, even though he's a wonderful, I'm just not happy" excuserobotron3k
    • Damn Gnash, right out the box!!notype

    • Punches for her indeed, but these things happen more than you think (the infidelity and the reassurance posts).Maaku
