the RIAA tried to pass a bill a while back that would ok it for them to hack into users personal computers to see what they were doing illegally.
it also gave them power to delete, destroy or edit any "illegal copies of protected works" on a users system without notifying the user about this.
oh, and if they fucked your system, too bad.
could you imagine the ramifications of such power for certain organizations?
the only thing that i hate more than software crackers, warez kiddies and pirates is the fucking MPAA, RIAA and the politicians whom don't know a PC from a hair on their ass.
we need young geeks in congress to change this world for the better.
