I spent the better part of yesterday and this morning analyzing the possible location of my next home.

Multiple factors such as fence, basement, garage capacity, bedroom / bathroom count, distance to grocery store, friends, work, haunts all received a number to assist in quantifying the visual, useful, and convenient aspects of each potential residence.

Each of the multiple determining factors receiving a point between 1 and 20 as every consideration is ranked using 3 variations (travel models) of the same formula, then averaged twice based on different formulas (size weighted vs cost weighted) to create an emotional and logical score.

Those are finally averaged once more, used to rank them in order of "perceived" preference.

Even seeing all the numbers, I still look past logic and want to select a property that may not yield the highest square footage per dollar or requires a further distance to travel for my existing life.

It has been a quite informative time sink nonetheless.
