    73-year-old Tom Bookwalter designed Kansas State University’s athletics logo in 1988, which is still in use but is the least remarkable part of the story. THIS is: “The Powercat will remain Bookwalter’s property until 70 years after his death.

    He assigned the copyright to K-State, and is paid about 7 percent of all money K-State gets from its use.” Boss.
