Jamesh mentioned it...i'm surprised it took so long.
It's all about the oil. Iraq a threat to the region? Perhaps. To the US? Hell no.
There is so much more evil in the world...thousands die in Rwanda...what does the US do? Nothing. Not a good oil source.
It's the oil, pure and simple.
