  • which macro lens are you using?
    I have an old manual focus and was thinking of an upgrade.futurefood
  • i'm using an extension tube with a 50-230mm lense and sometimes with a 27mm. And i use a Neewer lightBennn
  • extension tubes cost a fraction of the price of a new lense. but i would prefer a real macro lense if i had the cash. but tubes are fun too.Bennn
  • never tried tubes... i went for an older 1:1 macro lens because it was so cheap, but i am growing out of MF on things so small, need AF...I'll look into tubesfuturefood
  • AF is often tricky even with tubes, i've read articles from pro macro-photog and they all say MF is always better for macroBennn
  • the key is using a tripod and have a good source of light. With tubes you need to be close to the subject.Bennn
