When are you here? There's a massive food/art night market on at the Hearn Generating Station this weekend.
I live a block from St Michael's, unfortunately there's not a whole lot of food options in the area that aren't geared to tourists/mass market (mainly on Yonge St). St. Lawrence Market is just to the south; more options, but more mid-range in pricing. La Bettola di Terroni is good too.
And the islands have reopened! Be prepared for crazy long lines at the ferry terminal; consider just getting a water taxi ($10/adult, $5/kid; you can come back for free on the ferry).
