If you're in Manhattan, definitely check out the High Line Park one day/evening, starting up at 31st and ending around 14th in the Meatpacking District where you can look around and get food/drinks. Yeah, it's touristy there, but it's worth it.

Find a good Jewish deli and get yourself a proper bowl of matzo ball soup and split a sandwich. It's very NYC.

The Daryl Roth theater that housed the Fuerza Bruta show has this brand new show now called In & Of Itself, which is probably pretty rad. http://www.darylroththeatre.com/… I'm planning to check it out eventually.

Catch a late show at the Comedy Cellar after spending time exploring the Lower East Side and the Villages. If you go on a weeknight and you might even see some SNL cast members trying out new material. This happens at least half the time I go.

If I think of anything else, I'll post. Let me know if you have questions.

    • I will second the High Line. Bring a camera too. You can meet famous comics at the Comedy Cellar and the bar next door after the show.CyBrainX
    • We affectionately refer to the High Line as the Euro Parade. Such a great stroll through the city, with great views of the history and the future, and people.monospaced
