funny, when i lived on the west coast for a while i found my work wasn't well recieved at all. most of the CDs used their position and power to pilfer ideas, but were'nt much interested in help others out... it may have just been my experience working for a giant agency and such, but once i went to the east coast, my same work was well recieved and my phone rang nonstop. IMO, it seems like the west coast culture is more geared for "individual" achievements while the east coast is more "collaborative" in nature... but again, that was my experience, but maybe you should consider challenging yourself a little and getting a new zip code... starting anew def. builds character, knowledge and experience.
