I'll be shooting a huge catholic wedding and reception this Saturday in MX.
Gear:
Nikon d7100
Yongnuo manual flash
Nikon 80-200 f/2.8
Nikon 24-120 f/4
Tokina 16-28 f/2.8
Sigma 50mm 1.4 ArtWish me luck I'm going to be a shit show with only one body.. :(
Oh and to top it off it's my cousin's wedding so I told her just to give me $100 for expenses.
:(:(:(:(:
- you got this man. one body will be interesting, but just have fun and get some shots.capn_ron
- keep the sigma on :Djaylarson
- I wish I could man but I can't be stuck at true 75mm the whole time.HijoDMaite
- Go rent another d7100.pango
- oh... $100....
she get what she pays for LOLpango - i'd stick with 16-28 and 80-200. so you don't have to carry too many lens. anything in between. just walk further or closer.pango
- Buy extra batteriesok_not_ok
- what pango saidSimonFFM
- I have two batteries. my plan is to use the long and the 50 for most of ceremony. Then bust out the wides to use with flash.HijoDMaite
- Double check if wide angle lens casts shadow in the photo when using on camera flash.pango
- its a big flash, a speed light not one of those compact ones.HijoDMaite
- Second body will be a huge help if it's only you. You cousin should cover the extra few bucks. I'd get a 24-70 2.8, but I don't know what the crop is.formed
- 1.4 will be good for detail shots, get lots of them. I'd think you'll need more than 1 flash, or skip it altogether (if it's all day, outside)formed
- Def. bring your phone if your one body fails. Weddings aren't really the thing to chance only having one body on. Even though they're paying you shit.BH26
