In return, you are not hearing what i'm saying.
Why make a series about design and not question the fundamentals???
Those questions are hugely more fascinating & important than some banal one liners praising some brand.
This is not about going deeper anymore even, it's about selectively picking some questions to answer and conveniently forgetting about the others. It's about this tired BS that "it's up to the viewer" thus taking away power from the collective experience and giving it into the hands of the Big Boys (as if they ever were lacking power to influence our ideas in the first place).And if you want to talk about the art market, there is already a fascinating series, Robert Hughes' "Shock of the New" and even more so "The Mona Lisa Curse".
