    Thanks for the input. And yes, I agree sliders do have their place. That's going to be part of my presentation.

    But I DO believe that place shouldn't be punching you in your face when you first fire up the website.

    • The alternative to no carousel/sliders is to to get fired. Nobody client cares about the Norm-Nielsen polling results...robotron3k
    • But clients care about results, right? Try some split A/B testing, slider vs. no slider, and see which performs better.nocomply
