I went to see him do an on stage talk with Stewart Lee about his new book last week. Very good and his novel should be very interesting.
They talked for a little over an hour then opened it up to the theater for a Q+A; you could see him shudder slightly on the couple of occasions people in the audience wanted to go all comic fanboy.
"Alan, could you talk a little about such and such when writing The Killing Joke?"
"EEmmmmmm, no. I've disowned that"A great night though.
