While going out to grab a coffee this afternoon, I was at a stop sign at the end of my street...and out of nowhere appeared a large convoy of fully-weaponized U.S. military Stryker's vehicles armed to the fucking teeth. All of the vehicles had: rocket launchers, machine gun turrets, radar systems, missile bays, etc. And each weapon was manned and appeared to be fully operational. To say the least, I was startled and in shock, I have never seen anything like this while driving down the street on a Saturday afternoon.
There are no military bases in my area of Philly within 25-35 miles. I assume that they were having some sort of military exercise and displaying a show of force. "A show of force" what what reason?
Apparently there are a lot more of these joint military exercises happening all over the country.
