So I am watching my in-law's dogs while they are on vaca, and the older one developed a crazy hot spot on his tail this morning. According to my father-in-law this usually happens around Aug when the heat really starts. This year it's a month early. Spray not working and can't find the damn con!. Called vet and they are booked all night and closed until Tuesday.

    FML.

Need to call animal hospital so they can give him a shot for the infection, clean that shit up and put a cone of shame on him poor Sam. :-( Still best dog ever!

    • If it is at the end of the tail get an old sock and put over tail. Use duct tape to keep it on. Keeps dog from chewing at it.eryx
    • @ eryx its at the base of the tail.HijoDMaite
    • try some apple cider vinegar on his hot spots, helps with the healing process. https://www.vetinfo.…sea_sea
