    I'd love to see a proper, updated for the times HACKERS reboot.

    Like a real-world dark Mr. Robot x Spring Breakers x Oceans11 vibe b/w a delightful band of misfit teenagers who wear 90s neon fashions, listen to Orbital, get in too deep with something and get all black hat against the 'bad guys' who turned out to actually be their secret government employers... what!? No rollerblades though.

    I had high hopes for Mann's Blackhat but I was all GOTO:EXCITED ELSE GOTO:BUMMEDOUT END SESSION with it. It had it's moments I guess.

    • Hackers is just too good to have a sequel. In fact, it is so good the sequel to Hackers is Hackers - it works as a perfect cinematic loop.face_melter
    • i realize there's no way the 90s magic can be recaptured, but perhaps an intelligent but playful rework could work, not unlike girl with dragon tattoo rebootprophetone
    • ...and the main teenage hacker kid could be the son of zero cool and acid burn... his handle can be 'acidcool'prophetone
