Almost purchased this last week but I decided to read up on it. I think these'll be a nice running/workout shoe (especially since I naturally hit the mid part of my soles while running)

+ they look & feel nice but should i just jump into a minimum (earthly feel as a newbie?)

- Yeah, I'd try them on first. I've been rocking Nike fly knit lunar as I strike mid-foot as well. Solid shoe and you can usually get the previous year model forlvl_13
