fucking ridiculous. is the premise of the show supposed to be a company run by naive young adults or just complete idiots?

they sell all the furniture for garage sale prices. sell *hard drives* which aren't worth hardly anything. sell their own hard drive they were intending to keep (oops) and then destroy it rather than picking it back up so they can keep the work they did on their platform. makes no fucking sense.

what about the rental agreement on that huge space they had? are they just moving out and continuing to pay rent? what about the sales team who isn't actually fired because he doesn't have the authority to do so. what about their furniture?

i'm gonna watch one more episode and if it's not a lot better i'm stopping.

    • Lighten up man it's comedy / fiction / make-believeDaveO
    • a parody must still reflect some real truth to be funny. when characters actions become arbitrary, and major plot points thrown away, the show becomes a farce.sarahfailin
    • They mentioned like three times they were breaking the lease. And the CTO does have the authority if there is no CEO, which was also said three times.i_monk
    • Cleary that harddrive was not the only copydrgs
    • ^ Yes, they just didn't want it getting out in the wild. Although silly, everything was basically explained.ETM
    • The guy who destroys the hard drive is a known asshole. He did it purposely to be a dick to his coworker.dopepope
    • I think you're confusing 'slapstick mayhem' with 'documentary'.Muncher
    • Who the fuck would keep the only copy of their work on one tech dork's portable fucking hard drive ffs. Pay close attention. It's not a difficult show to followMuncher
    • they're obviously fucking up hugely. and they have deleted the entire platform before-- apparently not having made any backups.sarahfailin
    • They deleted their platform? Don't remember that. They deleted the all the porn content of the servers they were uploading to once.ETM
    • ^ah yeah that's what i was thinking.sarahfailin
    • That's not unrealistic. Owner of a then major bitcoin exchange erased everything because thought "terminate" meant "stop", not "delete irretrievably" on AWS.raf
